COVID-19 Vaccination Policy

As a registered NDIS provider, Like Family and its Social Carers are subject to all government mandates regarding vaccinations for disability support workers

VIC / NSW Booster Vaccinations

As of the 1st February 2022, with Covid cases on the rise across all states, Like Family are continuing to put safeguards in place to help keep Social Carers and Members safe on the platform. Please note that each state has different requirements.

With safety front of mind, we are encouraging that all our Social Carers must get the booster vaccination as soon as possible.

In accordance with VIC government mandates, COVID-19 Vaccinations are mandatory for ALL Victorian Social Carers. This includes the third booster vaccination. The cut-off date is March 29th.

Please note You are eligible to receive a third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine if you received your second dose 3 or more months ago. (i.e. if you got your second dose on 1 October, you became eligible for your third dose on 1 January.) We recommend getting your third dose as quickly as possible.

NSW Social Carers providing support in residential Aged Care facilities
