How do I make a recurring booking?

Recurring bookings allow you to set up your schedule in advance, and it will run automatically, ensuring you receive consistent support. You can set up bookings to repeat weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

A recurring booking can be created by either a Member or a Social Carer. This Help Centre article describes how a Member can create a recurring booking.

1. Make a new booking

After a Social Carer has confirmed their availability, click on the “Bookings” tab at the top of your Like Family dashboard. On the Bookings page, click on the “Make a Booking” button, located at the top-right of the page.

Then, select the Social Carer's name and fill in details about the booking, including:

  • the start date and time
  • whether transport is required

2. Select the frequency of your recurring booking

You can set your booking to recur weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Select your preference from the drop down menu, and choose how long you would like the recurring booking to repeat for.

3. Social Carer receives Booking Request

Once you have created the recurring booking, the Social Carer will receive a “Booking Request”. They should “Accept” the request on the platform prior to the recurring booking first taking place. 

If your Social Carer created the recurring booking, you will need to accept the request.
