Social Carer Values

At Like Family, we have a number of core values that were developed to ensure every interaction within our community feels safe, respectful, and positive. This article provides a breakdown of how these values apply to our Social Carers specifically

Every Member, Social Carer and Like Family staff member is expected to uphold our values and follow the guidelines surrounding them at all times. The Like Family Community Values are:

Each Value has its own set of associated behaviours and expectations. There are behaviours which embody the value, as well as behaviours that don't match up. These behaviours will not be tolerated on our platform and will result in disciplinary action.

Violating our Social Carer Values

Any Social Carer who acts in violation of our Values will face disciplinary action and may be removed from the Like Family platform. In cases of serious misconduct, you may be reported to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. Read our help centre article on Disciplinary Actions for more information.
