What is a Meet and Greet?

A Meet and Greet is a fantastic opportunity to make sure a Social Carer is the right match for you, prior to making a booking.

Your first 5 Meet and Greets are free, for up to 1 hour each. You can meet a Social Carer via a phone or video call or face-to-face at a location like your home, workplace or local cafe. You can bring along members of your Support Circle, like a family member or Support Coordinator.

A Meet and Greet isn't compulsory, but we highly recommend organising one if you're looking for ongoing support.

Here are some topics you may want to talk about:

  • The organisation of extra expenses and transport
  • Times and days you will be requiring support
  • Any future unavailable times (like if you're going on holidays)
  • Specific qualifications, triggers, likes and dislikes
