Like Family can work with Members who have a current Home Care Package Provider managing their Aged Care Fund to deliver support that complements their service provision.
Your Home Care Package provider will act as an intermediary invoice manager, i.e. Once services are provided by a Like Family Social Carer, an invoice will be sent to your Home Care Package provider where they will hold the responsibility of arranging payment of invoices.
Home Care Packages - Management Types
Home Care Packages can be managed 2 ways :Self and Case Managed.
Self-managed Members can currently choose:
- their provider and whether they wish to change providers at any stage;
- how they want to spend their funds, as the money is not allocated to specified areas
- when and by whom services are delivered.
