What if I was vaccinated overseas?

International vaccine certificates must meet specific requirements in order for Like Family to be able to accept them

If you were vaccinated overseas your COVID-19 vaccination certificate must be:

  • issued by a national or state/provincial-level authority or an accredited vaccination provider
  • in English or accompanied by a certified translation, and contain:
    • your name as it appears on your profile
    • your date of birth, passport number, or national identity number
    • the vaccine’s brand name
    • the date of each dose or the date when the full course of immunisation was completed.

You must also have been administered doses that are brands approved for use in Australia by the TGA.

If your certificate does not meet the requirements outlined above, we will not be able to accept it as proof of vaccination.

What if I have a medical exemption?

If you have a medical exemption issued overseas, Like Family may be able to accept it so long as it is that country's equivalent of the certificate generated by the IM011 form (Australias Medical Exemption form). If you are unsure whether or not your exemption meets those requirements, please email a copy of the certificate to hello@likefamily.com.au, and our onboarding team will review the certificate and notify you.
