Onboarding requirements for providing domestic assistance

Many Aged Care and privately funded Members seek support with domestic assistance and housekeeping tasks. These shifts are widely available on the Like Family platform and suit Social Carers who are looking for flexible, shorter shifts where they can contribute to a Member's overall well-being by providing them with a clean and safe living environment.

Services that are strictly domestic cleaning may require:

  • Vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping
  • Wiping down surfaces
  • Washing and hanging out laundry
  • Changing bed linen
  • Cleaning areas such as living rooms, bedrooms, and kitchens
  • Cleaning wet areas such as bathrooms and toilets
